Service 03 · Release Distribution

You've got the press release. We've got the editors.

A curated, hand-maintained UK media database, used by working PRs. Buy the list outright for unlimited use, or hand us your finished release and we'll send it out to the right people for you.

Two ways to use it.

A bought media list is only as good as the hands that maintain it. Journalists move titles every few months, beats shift, contact addresses become dead. The big distribution platforms charge you four-figure fees for lists they barely touch. Ours is different: it's the list we use ourselves, and we keep it current because our own work depends on it.

What's on the list

  • National newspaper newsdesks and beats
  • Women's weeklies and lifestyle monthlies
  • Parenting and family titles, print and online
  • Consumer-affairs desks and money columnists
  • Trade press across multiple sectors
  • Broadcast bookers (radio and TV)
  • Online lifestyle, wellness and family editors
  • Book reviews and publishing trade
  • Product page editors at major retailers
  • Freelance feature writers we know personally

Why not just use a free list?

There is no real "free list" for UK press contacts that doesn't get you flagged as spam within an hour. Every working PR is using either an expensive enterprise platform, a hand-maintained list, or both. We give you the second one at a price designed for small businesses doing their own outreach. If you want to do PR yourself without burning your sender domain, this is the cheapest route in.

Release Distribution · FAQ

Honest answers about distribution.

A lot of the noise in this space is generated by people selling overpriced platforms. Here's our straight take.

What sectors does the media database cover?

The list leans heaviest in parenting, women's lifestyle, consumer affairs, books and publishing, gifting and jewellery, fitness and family. It also covers national news desks and trade press across many other sectors. If you tell us your sector before you buy, we'll tell you honestly whether it's a strong fit.

How fresh is the list?

We work on it ourselves every week. Journalists move titles constantly, so a list that's older than a few months is mostly noise. Ours isn't.

Can I send unlimited releases with the £45 database?

Yes. Once you've bought the database it's yours to use as often as you like. We do recommend that you tailor pitches rather than blast everyone at once. That's the difference between coverage and the spam folder.

What does the £20 send-on-your-behalf cover?

We send your finished release out to the most relevant contacts on the database for the story. You provide the release; we provide the targeting and the send.

Do you write the release as well?

If you'd like us to, yes. Writing falls under our Outsourced PR service; we're happy to handle both writing and distribution, or just the distribution.
