Senior PR, without the agency price tag.
Not every business is at the stage where it can or should put a PR agency on retainer. But almost every business has a story, and most can be taught how to land it themselves with a bit of senior guidance behind them. That is what PR Coaching is for.
We sit down with you, look at your business with fresh eyes, find the angle a journalist would actually care about, and walk you through how to write it, who to send it to and how to follow up. You leave the session with worked-through copy, a starter media list, and a clear action plan for the next thirty days.
What we cover
- Finding the genuine news story inside your business
- Writing a press release that reads like news
- Building a focused, relevant media list
- How to pitch journalists by email and phone
- The follow-up: persistent without being annoying
- Spokesperson basics: how to handle an interview
- Long-lead vs short-lead: planning a year of PR
- Press packs, photography and digital assets
- Trade press, national press, broadcast: when to use which
- What to do when a story actually lands
Who it's for
PR Coaching works best for founders, in-house marketers and small business owners who want to do their own PR but don't want to learn the hard way. It also works well for marketing teams who want to up-skill in PR without sending someone on a generic course.
A lot of our coaching clients come back later for occasional outsourced PR support when something big lands on their desk. That's by design: once you understand how the engine works, you know exactly when to call in extra horsepower.
Single sessions or a block
You can book a single session, or a block of three to work through a launch end-to-end. We'll usually recommend the right shape after our first call, based on what you're trying to do.
