I’ve spent two and a half decades on the other side of the desk: writing for publishers, briefing journalists, and seeing first-hand what makes editors pick up the phone, and what makes them hang up. My particular passion is consumer affairs. I love a story where an ordinary person, or a smaller business, takes on a big corporation that thought it could get away with it. Those are the stories the national press wants, and they’re the stories I’m best placed to help land.
