Service 01 · Outsourced PR

Outsourced PR for brands that need to be in the press this quarter, not next year.

Press release writing, feature articles, new product launches and full national media campaigns. Tailored to your budget. Run end to end by a senior PR with twenty-five years of newsroom contacts.

The brief is simple: get you in the press.

Most outsourced PR briefs come down to one of three things. You have a story to tell and you need someone who can write it like a journalist would, not like a brochure. You have a product to launch and you need it covered by the right titles, in the right week, with the right framing. Or you have a long-running narrative to build and you need a PR who will pick up the phone, every month, and keep going until the coverage builds.

We do all three. We sit somewhere between a one-person freelancer and a big-agency retainer: you get senior, hands-on PR delivered without the inflated rate card, and you get it from the same person every time.

How it works

Brief & story-find

A call with Julie. We work out what the actual story is, who it should reach and what success looks like.

Write

We draft a release that reads like news, not marketing. You sign it off, we tighten it, we get it ready to go.

Pitch

Direct outreach to the editors and journalists we know will be interested. No mass-blast spam. Phone calls follow.

Land & report

Coverage tracking, clippings, and an honest debrief on what worked and what we'd do next time around.

Outsourced PR · FAQ

Common questions, plainly answered.

If the answer you need isn't here, the fastest way to get one is a five-minute call with Julie.

Do I need to commit to a retainer?

No. We work on one-off projects, short campaigns and longer retainers. Whatever fits the story and the budget. A surprising number of our best results have come from a single, well-pitched press release.

How quickly can you turn a press release around?

If the story is newsworthy and the brief is clear, we can have a release written, signed off and on its way out the same week. We've turned releases around in twenty-four hours when the news demanded it.

Will my work be handled by a junior?

No. Every brief is shaped, written and pitched by Julie Sherwood personally. There are no junior account handlers, no offshore copywriters, no surprise hand-offs.

Do you guarantee coverage?

No reputable PR will guarantee coverage. What we guarantee is professional pitching, an excellent release, and persistence. Our reputation rests on actually placing stories, and that is what we set out to do every time.

What sectors do you specialise in?

Consumer affairs, parenting, women's lifestyle, books and publishing, gifting, jewellery, swim and fitness brands. If you're outside those sectors, get in touch anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit, and if we're not we'll often know someone who is.

How is pricing structured?

Project fees are quoted up front against a specific scope. Retainers are billed monthly, with a clear list of deliverables. PR Coaching starts at £150 a session; release distribution starts at £20 for a single send.
